Vishva Hindu Parishad ( Matrushakti )

Matrishakti is the organizational unit of Vishwa Hindu Parishad. Special attention was paid to the work of women in the context of social, religious and cultural organizations like Vishwa Hindu Parishad, hence it was decided to have 20 percent participation of women in the Board of Trustees. It was also decided that a woman representative should be appointed in various units of the council. Therefore, in 1973, after the worker training in Udaipur, Prof. Mandakini Dani, who was full-time, was appointed as the All India Minister (Women's Department). By 1975-77, due to her tireless work and stay, women's departments were established in every province. 40 thousand Matrashakti were present in the Second World Hindu Conference, Prayag in 1979. This conference was presided over by the late Smt. Mahadevi Verma ji.
